After the successful first editions of the Ypres Christmas Market in 2006, 2007 and 2008, 50 cosy chalets (14 more than in 2008!) will be appearing once again on the Market Square from 5 December 2009 to 3 January 2010. Visitors will be able to enjoy some typical Christmas Market products.
The use of new chalets and the splendid new Christmas decorations will once again provide an enchanting scene near the impressive Cloth Hall. The organisers are planning an abundance of entertainment to ensure visitors have a breathtaking visit.
The ice rink on the Market Square, which attracted over 11,000 skaters last year, will play an even greater part in the Christmas Market thanks to a new set up.

Sunday 14:00 - 20:00
The web site www.christmasmarket.be provides in depth information for individual visitors and also for Tour Operators including coach parking. It is in 3 languages English, French and Dutch. There are regular updates listing participants and sponsors.
