The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew is celebrating a special Christmas and New Year this winter.
2012 dates to be confirmed - below gives a taste of what has happened last year

The Gardens will be decked out with seasonal decorations, including sparkling Christmas trees and beautiful wreaths.
Families can experience a fun day out, in stunning surroundings, enjoying the fresh, crisp winter air. Young visitors will have the chance to meet Kew’s jolly Father Christmas in his festive grotto; set in the magical atmosphere of an enchanted woodland, beautifully lit with sparkling lights.
Come to Kew this Christmas and enjoy horse & carriage rides, festive facepainting and visit Santa in his grotto

Venue: Climbers and Creepers
Price: £4 each or 2 for £7
Carousel and Horse & Carriage Rides
Enjoy a carriage ride at Kew or a traditional carousel ride on the lawn in front of Kew Palace.
Dates: Daily, Sat 11 December – Mon 3 January (except 24 & 25 December)
Time: 10.30am – 3.30pm
Price: Additional charges apply
