Enjoy a real Christmas treat at Waddesdon with the spirit of Christmas captured in trees and lights and the East Wing of the House sumptuously decorated. Shop for those elusive Christmas gifts in our award winning gift and wine shops.
Each year we have a different theme and this year with the help of English National Ballet, we will celebrate Christmas with decorations and events reflecting the fairy tales of Hans Christian Anderson. The East Wing will be inspired by tales of the Snow Queen, the Tin Soldier, Thumbelina and the Princess and the Pea.
Children can write a letter to Father Christmas and post them on the walls of the Power House ready for Christmas Eve, or say hello to Father Christmas as he walks around the Gardens during weekends in December.
Why not attend one of the many exciting events we have taking place, including Christmas Fairs, Food Markets and choirs singing in the Gardens during the Christmas season.

Special Events - Waddesdon on a Winter's Evening
Why not spend a special evening with us at Waddesdon as the Manor opens its doors for guests to marvel at the sumptuously decorated interiors and beautiful Christmas tress
The music of a harpist drifts through the House as guests tour the festive displays and then enjoy a glass of Champagne in our award-winning gift shop before completing the experience with a delicious Rothschild Christmas Dinner in the Manor Restaurant.
Christmas Parties
Waddesdon offers an unrivalled experience for a Christmas celebration. We welcome advanced reservations for Christmas parties at lunchtime or in the evenings. Our Christmas menus are based on historical recipes once served in the Manor.
The Events team can arrange bespoke events including an exclusive access tour of the Rothschild Collection. We can also organise all kinds of entertainment, from a band to magicians, wine tastings with our Master of Wine as well as unique Christmas gifts including our classic Rothschild wines.
