German North Sea Coast - Nov 24 - Dec 23 2008. (Daily 11.00 - 19.00) The wide variety of freshly caught fish isn't the only thing unusual about this Christmas
market, its location is also very special. The market is staged on a giant pontoon and can be reached via a footbridge.
In Oldenburg the Christmas market takes place in a romantic setting in front of the historic castle. - Nov 25 - Dec 22 2008. (Daily 10.00 - 20.30. Sun 11.00 - 20.30 )
More than 100 traditional wooden huts sell local produce, regional specialities, arts and crafts.
The Christmas market in Osnabrack - Nov 25 - Dec 22 2009. (Daily 12.00 - 21.00) is gigantic in every way. Here you'll find a 6 metre tall
nutcracker and the world's largest Christmas musical box which plays 25 different tunes.
Equally unique is the Christmas Forest in Goslar in the Harz Mountains (25 Nov - 29 Dec 2009). Imposing pine trees and
burning torches transform the town centre into an enchanting fairy tale forest. If you want to travel a bit further
a field, climb on board a steam train, which will take you through the snow-covered scenery of the Harz Mountains.
