typical Swiss crafts, lovely old books and a lot of rarities.Close by, in Schneidergasse, there's Johann
Wanner's Christmas Weihnachtsstube and a little way up Spalenberg stands his Christmas House. With its
Advent and Christmas decorations.
In the Theatre Square fountain with its water-spewing mobiles creates lovely ice sculptures
Music lovers have festive concerts of every kind. Devotees of opera, plays, ballet, musicals and cabaret
can take their pick from the wide ranging pro-gram mounted by Basel's theatres and fringe showcases.
